Vlog post number two. I talk about the two things on my mind: My 20 Forever Affiliate test sites and my auto responder.
[transcript:]
I’m on my way home and in my mind I’m going through all the stuff that I have on my to-do list for internet marketing. It’s 5:00 now, I’ll get home and play with the kids for awhile, get them down to bed, hang out with my wife for awhile and have some dinner. Then it will be 10:00 or so and it will be time for me to try to get a few important things done.
One of the things that is really on my mind right now is Forever Affiliate sites. I committed to doing these 20 sites as a case study, that has turned out to be a lot of work and I’ve kind of lost focus of it over the last six weeks. The reason that bothers me is not because of the income potential from the 20 sites – I do think there is quite a bit of income potential there, but what really bugs me is that I committed to making these 20 sites at a time when I was recommending this product to others (I still recommend it) and people bought this product on the strength of my recommendation. That means that I have a bunch of people out there waiting to see whether or not I’m going to do what I said I was going to do.
Now, I didn’t promise that I would get results, but I did promise that I would go through the program and report the results that I got. I really need to do that. I said I would do that by the end of the year, there’s six months left and I’ve still got plenty of time. I’ve done a lot of work so far, but not nearly enough and not nearly as much as I planned. So that’s what’s on top of my mind.
The other thing that I have to work on that I’m worried about is my autoresponder. It’s way out of date, a lot of the links in there are broken. Basically when people sign up for my email newsletter they’re not getting the kind of quality automated emails that I think they should get and I really need to work on that.
Those two things are very high on my list and I’m going to try to make a little progress on that tonight. That’s a little peek at what’s going on inside my head coming home from work on a normal work day.
I hope you guys have a fantastic day and you’re getting some work done in your internet business. Until next time.
I hear ya Mark.
I seem to put too much on my own plate. I don’t know why I do it. :-O

I think it’s pretty common for entrepreneurs to have more (good) ideas than time. LOL
I like the new vlog format, a good way to get out a quick post, especially by adding the transcript. I am looking forward to your vlogs from some of those great places you travel to. Keep it up.

p.s. Check out my new site and leave me a comment too! I’ve got my first post up and getting some graphics done now.
Hey there Mark, awesome episode! Really a good way to use your time while driving around! I usually listen to various podcasts as I have to drive about 30 km from my home to work and that takes me about 30 to 40 minutes so the podcast is almost finished when I arrive at work/home! Nice way to be really productive!
I am really looking forward on your follow up with this program Forever Affiliate as I am thinking about buying it too but I want to know how your experience goes first… no pressure lol I will be building my first niche site soon following Pat Flynn’s Niche Site Duel 2.0 (no marketing intended) and will be trying out what I learned so far and maybe this course can leverage it for me! I love the affiliate format! Great job Mark, keep it coming!
