If you’re getting email with offers, let’s get Gmail or some other popular strong email program like Outlook setup with some filters and filter that stuff into a box and only check that box once a week or something. Don’t look at these offers as they come in, that is a terrible waste of time. You need to cut down the information in your inbox.
Just like you need to listen to one person at a time, you really kind of need to be working on one thing at a time. Multitasking in internet business does not work very well. It certainly does not work with part time internet marketers. You end up with 30 unfinished projects and no projects making money.
I have been told that a lot of entrepreneurs fail because they’re working on too many ideas at once. I think this is something that is covered in the eMyth book that one of the failings of entrepreneurs in general is that they have too many ideas going at the same time. You need to work on one idea if you’re a part time internet marketer. Part time makes this worse. If you’re a part time internet marketer you really have this problem in spades.
My friend Lynn Terry over at Clicknewz.com says you need to work your plan from “Start to Profit” before you move onto the next plan and I really like that little catch phrase that she uses.
