When I first started studying Internet Marketing, I immediately ran across Sterling and Jay and their Internet Business Mastery Podcast. I found the podcast while searching iTunes looking for information about how to make money online.  At that time they had the number one internet business podcast, and they still claim that title today.  When I first downloaded their podcast, I did not even know what Internet Marketing was.  Since then, I have written about these guys many times on this blog.  I respect them as honest experts on a variety of topics.

The Internet Business Mastery Focus

Sterling and Jay are really all about Lifestyle Design.  They know a lot and teach a lot about making money online, but money is not their focus.  They also know a lot and teach a lot about Internet Marketing,  although teaching the latest marketing strategies is not the primary focus of their business.  While they are experts on these topics and do teach all of this stuff, Internet Business Mastery is really about lifestyle design.

So what is lifestyle design?

Most of us have lives that revolve around our business.  I know that my life is centered around my traditional engineering job at a large company.   I love my job, but I know that most people out there are not as fortunate as I am in that regard.  Lots of people are working 9 to 5 for a paycheck (and that paycheck is not really all that great).

What Sterling and Jay argue is that you should create your own business that is designed around the lifestyle that you want.  It's about working to live versus living to work versus living the lifestyle of your dreams.  They ask the question — What is your definite major purpose in your life and is your business designed to support that?  Their goal is to teach you how to do that, starting from scratch today.

As I have mentioned previously, I am a charter member of their Internet Business Mastery Academy — even so, I have a difficult time impressing on people the greatness of it.  Now I don't need to anymore.   Finally Sterling and Jay will handle that for me.
