One of the cool things that you can do if you are a geek is help a friend start a blog. I have done this several times, and it can be very rewarding.
The latest one that just got started by my friend Richard is InkHammer.com. He bought me pizza and I told him about WordPress.
Remember what is was like when you did your first post? Quiet. Really quiet.
If you have a minute, I would appreciate it if you would go drop a comment or stumble the page. Richard is a former newspaper journalist, and plans to blog about the intersection between blogging and professional journalism.
Here is a link to his very first post: Reporting versus Blogging.
As Richard mentions in the post, he has a lot of work to do on the site. But, his first post is up and that is a huge deal.
I’ve offered to help my sister start a blog, does that make me a geek? I’m off to check out Richard’s blog.
I like the blog that give the information of global economy. I think the Richard’s blog is interesting because he is journalist.
