In this video post, I discuss a couple of ideas around SMART goals — specifically asking if your 2014 goals are measurable and attainable.
I’ve got a ton of goals for 2014, one of which is to lose some weight using the Fitbit and to blog about it on a new niche blog that I’ve be talking about right here on LateNightInternetMarketing.com. But it’s still 2013 right now, so before 2014 gets here I’m going to eat some biscuits.
What are your goals for 2014?
Let me tell you, it’s really important that you write them down and that you review them regularly as you go through 2014. You need to make sure that your goals are SMART.
Part of SMART goals is that they be measurable. That’s the M in SMART. I think that’s one of the most important things that you can do for yourself is make sure you have a goal that’s measurable, something that you can know how your progress is going throughout the year.
The A in SMART is for attainable. Make sure you’re picking goals that actually have some chance of being achieved in 2014. If you pick a goal that’s too big, you’ll just de-motivate yourself.
I’ll be sharing all of my goals for the blog with you in just a few days, but until then I want you to be thinking about your goals. Leave some comments on the blog, let me know what you’re thinking about in 2014. Until then, I’m going to put my biscuits in the oven and I’ll talk to you later.
I’m Mark Mason from LateNightIM.com, wishing you a fantastic 2014.
your video is only 9 seconds long 🙂
